This car is twice the car that my 01 Range Rover was. Plenty of power, decent cornering and it appears that it will climb a brick wall if you wanted it to. I had a Porsche Cayenne and that car tries to hard be sports car. To get air suspension you almost have to get the Turbo. With that your spending almost twice the money to get there. This is one of the last production SUV that has a low range also. The LR3 is so much smoother also. No problems yet after 3000 miles. As for the poor quality issue, you see plenty of 10 year old Rovers around Denver. So I'm happy. Due to the lack of snow I have been able to get it some moderate trails and I'm really happy with off road performance.
