Well, I sold my sedan and my truck to get down to a single vehicle That can go off-road and tow 6k+. Next door neighbor has an LR3 and he convinced me to get one. His has 148k and he has had zero problems. Previously I owned an 06 Xterra which I used to death. Off-roading, towing, camping and all sorts of outdoorsy stuff here in Colorado. It died a horrible death @ 200+k and I thought a sedan and a truck would fill the empty void. They didn't.

It was nearly impossible to find an HSE with HD package for under 70k, sadly I had to forgo this package to get the remaining features I wanted.

I am the new owner of a 2016 LR4 Aruba (second color choice). Ebony interior, upgraded sound, vision, climate package, and a bunch of other things.

Any advice would be welcome. This will be my commuter and my adventure rig. The dogs are already happy now that they don't have to share a crew max cab with the kids.

Sounds like a great setup; please post some photos and drop by the LR4 section which is pretty active and informative and fun. Welcome to the group!
