I got a used 06 LR3 HSE Oct 08. It now has 21K miles on it and the rear driver tire went flat on the highway today. A guy stopped and helped me put the spare on and then I drove it to the dealership for first service since I bought it. They called and said the tire was not fixable and that I would need a pair (at least) of course. $860 for two tires. OK, so I pick it up tomorrow with two new and two old tires. Thanks to the forum, now I know a little more about tires. I don't know what sort of tires they will put on it, but I'm just assuming they will do do a good job for that money.:albertein

Sadly they have overcharged you for 2 tires, by enough to buy 4.

COSTCO tires

I couldn't get four for that much for my Acura, and if they cost $315 each at COSTCO then it seams understandable they would cost $435 each at a dealership. I just wonder if they are the same as the ones that just wore out or if they have better tires now than those original ones,
