I had some oil accumulation on that same spot when I had a valve cover leaking on the driver side. Could just be residual from before you had work done. I’d blast it with brake clean and see if it comes back. My guess is no it won’t

I for one am glad you started this post. We meandered all over the place. What fun!
Let me add one… for the winter I was thinking of getting the standard ride height adjusted, +.5”. Then getting an alignment, of course.
Some of us get REAL winter weather. I took a slight deviation this year and put on the Bridgestone Blizzak DM-V2, 255/55-19s.
Its an experiment. I want to see the effect as I head out to ski country.
