Noisy

I have a 2000 disco II w/112000 miles on it. I am hearing a strange tapping noise when i excelerate primarly when it goes into kickdown mode at higher rpm's, once we switch gears its smooth no noise at all.It has been doing this for about a month or so, but seems to be getting more noticable. Any ideas would be helpful. Thanks

Where does the noise seem to be coming from?

Could be U-joints in the drive shaft
Could be CAT heat shield
Could be Exhaust leak
Could be Idle arm for S-Belt
