In all cases that I know of, it's just a 9.5k Warn winch. There are other options available - Superwinch, Ramsey...really, any winch manufacturer. The real issue is how you plan to mount it. There are ARB bumpers and hidden winch kits available (devon 4x4). Both work well.

I replied to your posting on disco3 about contacting Ray in the UK. Seems all of the folks there love his products. I'm about to order his hidden winch mount, he also offers the external LR-like setup as well. Other than that, you can find the winch cheaper all day and the solenoid pack is an easy install.
