Oil Cost Too Much!!!

If it was not done on this oil change, drill out the two rivets that hold the panel in place under the oil filter. Replace the rivets with clip nuts and bolts. When it is time to change your oil just remove the 2 nuts on the clip nuts and the single bolt to the rear, then flex the cover down to get to the oil filter. If you do it yourself the oil change should be around 30-40 bucks and and hour of your time.

The local LR stealership here gets $130, I bought Mobil 1 Synthetic oil, 5-40 I think, the owners manual has specific brands and weights, so I went with that, I paid $38 for the oil, $13 for the filter from LR, which it was the metal style, not just the paper filter type, I am hoping they gave me the right one, and I will have it changed by a local guy probably for around $20.
