oil drain plug size on 98 disco

My Disco needs an oil change bad! I bought all the stuff to do it, and when I got down there, I didnt have a big enough socket to do it. I have a 1" socket and it doesnt even fit! How big is the oil drain plug, so I can buy the right damn socket lol. PLEASE HELP ME!

I Just Changed Mine And Ran Into The Smae Problem. I Ended Up Borrowing A Friend 24mm Socket. I Believe Thats About 1" But You Might Have Like A 26mm Plug. Anyways, Hope This Helps. You Could Always Use A Wrench.
