oil light

the oil light on my dash flickers sometimes when i am idling. i have checked oil levels, although i have a slow leak i always stay on top of the oil levels. sometimes starts rough but no problems other than that, anyone else had oil light flicker?

Clogged pick up tube for the oil pump.... might want to clean it. Drop the oil pan and get rid of all the gunk in the pan while your at it.

Is this a high-mileage engine? You may have worn main or camshaft bearings.
