Are there any instructions on how to replace the oxygen sensors on my 2000 Disco II?

Why are you replacing them, are you having a problem, have any fault codes, what are they.
02's are plug and play, make sure you get the right ones, none of the generic that you have to wire the plug to.

Getting about 7-9 mpg and have codes that indicate both front and back are bad. 88,500 miles and finding that very little maintenance has been done on it. As far as the O2's, how tight should they be tightened? should there be anything put on the threads for a tight seal?

Hey mike just found this site and wondering if you might have any advice for me regarding these 02 sensors? The guy that sold it to me took out all four of the sensors and replaced them with 3 inch bolts I cant find the wiring to hook the sensors up to if I did buy new ones to replace them with and this truck barely runs. it runs real rich and dies constantly. we hooked it up to a hand scanner and it showed messed up sensors all over the vehicle and I'm wondering if the four missing sensors could cause this thing to show that there are more problems than there really are. Do you know any where to find these sensors cheap and also are there two different type of 02 sensors? Thank you for any advice you can offer.

They're similiar to spark plug threads, I don't think you'll get a torque wrench on them so just snug them

the new ones should have gaskets

Careful of crossthread

Put anti-seize on the new threads and not a lot, you don't want it on the sensor.
