Passenger Door Lock

So every time i lock my 06 LR3 with my Remote key i notice that the truck does lock, but when i try to open the passenger door it still opens and the factory alarm goes off.... why is it doing this

I had the exact same issue with the driver rear door. I changed the latch assembly and it is good now. Here are instructions:

You don't need need to remove the window regulator to do the fix. There was another thread I referenced on a different website that also explained how to replace the latch, but I can't find it.
