possible to download free service manuals

Hi . I was wondering if it is possible to down load free service/repair manuals from the net .I live in dubai ,U.A.E . and there is no where u can buy them here ,and it cost an arm and a leg to ship anything here.

96 disco with 180,000kms ,thats 112500 miles 4" lift ome coilsprings ,275/70 r 16 , shaheen sand tyres ( i bet u boys have never heard of these ) ,Coustom made front steel bumper with round foglight cutouts 16 speaker 1200w sound system ,out of with 6 are 8" woofers ,now i have no space in the back for anything else .And will be found severly thrasing around in the dunes on the weekend

Hi desertDude..........it might be better to pick up a "Rave" cd from eBay, they usually cost less than £5 + postage, don't know what that would be to Dubai, but it would be worth it. The cd covers all you ask for and more, mechanics, electrical body etc, about 1000's of pdf pages. Hope this helps.

I too have '96 Disco, 300 tdi - 98000 mls- mainly for hauling my Carping gear around muddy lanes to the pool side. Basic model but now fitted with electic leathers, Becker sat nav + changer, wind deflectors, white lights, full set interior blinds, side steps & trick little rear step.
