question on offsets

what are the offsets on a 98' disco? a guy needs to know it so he can help me with my exhaust. thanks

What does he mean by offsets?

"Can you find out what the offsets are.... ie, offset/offset, center/center.
Where the inlet and outlet are located on the muffler.
If you can get me a description on the stock muffler I may be able to
help." is what he said

IF you are replacing stock muffler and tailpipe with stock muffler and tailpipe, I believe it's offset on the intake end and centered on the exhaust end. But you can replace with anything that'll fit

Could he mean the size of the offset, meaning diameter of the pipe? Mine (96 D1) is 2-1/4 inches. What type of muffler are you going to install?
