Hello All,

I just got my new radiator from Atlantic British and I'm wondering how difficult of a job it is to replace the radiator? Can I trust it to my local mechanic (he replaced my exhaust, water pump and rear air bags) or should I seek out a shop? Also, Joey mentioned checking for a clogged oil pick up tube (a separate issue)... exactly what does that entail?

Thanks in advance,

Radiator is an easy change (okay for a basic back yard mechanic). So you local shop should be fine with it.

Oil pick up tube, if you are getting the occasional oil light, or you just want to make sure... you have to drop the oil pan and just clean the screen and pick up tube that goes into the oil pump.

Tywanna, sounds like your Rover will be happy with you. Your doing more than most in Cincinnati to keep your Rover running good. Trust me I have seen some of the stuff that is driven around here.

Hey Joey. I used to work for Duke Energy after they took over Cinergy and I lived up on Mount Adams last year. I was born in raised in Ohio and I kinda miss it, but I can't complain about the weather down here in Charlotte.
