New member here so bear with me. The rear defroster on my 96 disco doesn't work. I've tried the connectors in the back and I can't find a pinched wire. When I push the RD button should it stay pushed in or is it for a lack of better words spring loaded? I can't find a blown fuse unless I'm looking in the wrong spot. I looked under the hood at the fuse my book said was heated rear window and it was good. I tested the wires going to the switch and I have power there but when you push the switch it doesn't light up nor does the rear window defrost.

Test for power at the rear window and see if you have any.

Found it
The first replacement switch was apparently bad. I put in another new switch and what do ya know I've now got a defroster.
