rear wiper

05 lr3 hse, my rear wiper has a mind of it's own. It activates when it wants to, Is there a sensor involved? anyone know of any good replacement blades for the front wipers? thanks

I don't have an answer regarding your rear wiper however I have been using the "Goodyear Assurance" brand wiper blades. They are awesome and I haven't had any of the chatter problems I would get intermittently with the stock blades. I think they are ~$8 a blade at Costco.... Only downfall is they haven't had the short blade for the rear and I haven't tried to find them anywhere else.

The rear wiper activates automatically when the wiper stalk is in the first position and reverse is selected.

I just put the michelin blades on from walmart. work great so far.

The rear wiper will activate automatically if your front wipers are on and you put the car in reverse. Nice feature actually.
