Conclusion... almost
I received my replacement key from Rover Connections today. Cut was correct, but bottons don't work... I am hoping it is just that the battery is not charged. I'll use it to drive to work tomorrow and get some juice into it then try again. Will keep you all posted.
FWIW... my previous LEXUS SUV's second key was $280.00... so at $180.00 I at least feel like this one for the LR3 was a "bargain"... kind of anyway... I think. Soon it may cost $180.00 to fill the tank with gas
