I'm going to replace my plugs and wires on my '00 Discovery and was wanting to find out a few things before I embark on this. First of all, what should and shouldn't I remove to get to the wires, I've read that it may be neccessary to remove the intake plenum and if so will I have to replace the gasket?

Second I am going give the engine the seafoam treatment and I was wondering what order to do that in, it's time for an oil change so should I wait and do the seafoam first? Also should I replace the plugs/wires before I use seafoam or wait until after?

I've ordered a standard set of plug wires, any suggestions on a brand and type of plugs that would be a good match for the wires?

Thanks for any help or suggestions

Drew, get Magnecors...do a search and see Joey's info for some good places to get them.

Do the Seafoam before changing the plugs and wires...and all you have to take off is the intake hoses between the air box and the plenum (but only to make it easier to get to the driver's side plugs).

With standard plugs (since you have already bought wires) I would go with Champion truck plugs.
