Restoring 1978 RRC 2 door

hi all!

I just registered as well as just purchased a 1978 RRC a month ago.

I live in north borneo, malaysia. Been searching for body and interior parts for my 2 door RRC and didn't find much of it even in the uk. Wondering if any forum members would know places in the world where i can find them.


Here are some of the parts needed:

1) Dashboard Assembly

2) LH & RH doors complete with lock barrels, trim, handles..etc in good condition.

3) Weatherstripping rubbers for all doors including windshield.

4) Front wings LH &RH

Ever since owning "chucky", i became a firm believer in rover products especially the earlier models although i still drive other brand of trucks.

Are there any 2 door RRC in the USA?

I personally haven't seen any, but older RR's are few and far between.

Also no LR sales happened in the USA between 1975 - 1986

Will check the website.

Some companies i've called up in the uk have told me that LR stopped production of body and trim parts for the 2 door RRCs.

which only means searching around for any store which might have old stocks of parts and used ones.
