I had come across the Howling Moon in my earlier research, but there doesn't seem to be a US importer. It seems to have some nice features, like good ventilation. And I think the idea of the ladder coming up through the floor might be useful in the rain, although I wonder about falling through the opening. The attachment to a roof-rack seems similar to the Autohome Overland tent, requiring straight cross-bars on the rack. I guess we'll have to wait for Thule or another company to come up with a suitable rack.
