I see a red light, I start coasting. No need to run up to it just to stop. It's not a track event after all 
And consider that I roll with more weight than most lr3's you see. 7000-8000 lbs.
I do not commute to a job though so yes, not too much stop and go compared to someone who drives to work in a city or large urban area.
