Rough idle and extreme smoke from exhaust following coolant system replacement

2012 LR4, 126,000 miles.

Truck was running perfect. Developed a coolant leak (truck did not overheat). Replaced front and rear crossovers and water pump.

After coolant system repairs, the truck would idle really rough (eventually dying after about a minute running) and huge cloud of non-stop smoke from exhaust.

Any ideas on what went wrong?
