Hi, I have a 1995 RR Classic LWB. I am having trouble with the sound system.
It is the original premium package from 1994, with the cassette up front and the CD changer in the back. The problem is no sound on the left side. Everything works on the right side.
Is there anybody out there that can save me some time trouble shooting?
Thanks, D

Pull the speakers on one side and touch a 9 volt battery on and off the two wire connections to the speaker (not back to the radio), you should have a clicking sound with on/off connecting of the battery. If clicking it's good, now check the other side. Grounding, disconnecting a wire or a burned speaker coil on one side can knock out all speakers on that side. Get back with the results. The ones in doors are most likely to cause problems (wires flexing and breaking in the door jamb or water causing corrosion...) so start with the driver side door. You have to know the speakers are connected before you start pulling the radio out of the dash. If one is bad then replace it. Start simple. Speakers can be removed without removing the door panels.
