Screen wash won't stop coming out!!!!

I need help! Turned on the rover earlier and the screen wash won't stop coming out until the resevoir was depleted. So now it just keeps trying to pump more out even though it doesn't have any. Anyone know anything i can do to make it stop? Tried taking the fuse out for the wiper motor, so I got that to stop but the screen wash still tries to come out. It's getting annoying! Please help!!! It's a 99 range rover hse 4.6

maybe the button on the wiper stalk is sticking????? u not get a stalk from a breakers and try it??
