on my last visit for service the dealership decided to turn on the notification of how long since the last service and when the next one is due. don't know why now, but that is ok by me. my question is this:
since after the warranty service schedule is up, i will probably get it done somewhere local or do it myself. i am sure the system is set up so their computer resets the mileage back to zero. has anyone figured out the secret to resetting this? do we have to turn the key on 3 times; hit the am button on the radio and kick the left front tire twice? or is it something only the dealer can do?
