I just took my car to the shop for my steering wheel shaking and a bad vibration around the car at around 50-60mph. The mechanic said that it was the tires I had on my car because they are very aggressive mud terrains. I have had the tires for about 5 months and there was no problem like this before. Is this due to the tires wearing down possibly or do I need a tire rotation or alignment which the mechanic said was not needed? Again this is a new problem and it did not happen when the tires were newer.

They are Hankook Dynapro M/T

I would go to whoever mounted your new tires, have them rotated and balanced. If they are already showing cupping or wear, you will need to rotate them more frequently.
By the way, how many miles on your truck?

this is a tire problem. Go to your tire retailer and tell them the situation. They will do a detailed balance on them. If that does not solve the problem, ask them to replace the offending tire(s) under the warranty. This same problem happened to me with a BMW and they gave me new tires after trying to properly balance them 2 or 3 times without success. Some tires are just lemons and cannot be balanced. I use America's Tire and they always take good care of me.
