Looks great - I do like that color a lot. Your truck looks like it's in awesome shape. I notice the BMC license plate - I got my LR4 from Land Rover San Jose. Where are you located? I am in San Carlos.

Iam located in San Jose. I purchased this used 2010 with 10000 miles last week. Iam happy that I went with used one with very low miles. Plan is to purchase a new LR4 when they refresh the model which Iam hearing from my friends at TATA that it would be around 2016.

Nice to meet you! Do you have any interest in off roading? I am part of the Northern CA Land Rover club and it's a lot of fun. There are lots of different activities, but a few of them meet the first Saturday of each month at Hollister Hills SVRA.

Clean Pics, Unfinished

Ok, here are the pictures of my in process LR4 build. I'm still looking for either a bumper or winch mount for the front and load bars for the roof. Also considering building an 8 inch tall set of drawers for the rear end. I'm looking for a shop to cut the bump stops and relocate the tire carrier about 6 inches.

Sorry for the clean pics, I'll post some dirty ones another day.

Hey Kevin (Expat93),

Wow - that looks incredible man. I am very impressed with your LR4. The rear bumper is definitely a great improvement and highly functional. I've only had my new LR4 for 2 days and I am already itching to figure out more modifications.

The wheels look perfect - could not be better. I will be very curious to see what you come up with for the front. I really like the ARB bumper, but that's definitely a major modification with pros and cons.

Thanks again for sharing your experience.

Beautiful work Expat.

I know it's the wide-angle lens playing tricks, but from that perspective the spare tire looks to be about 40, maybe even 50" in diameter.
