Sleeve in rear shocks?

I just put OME shocks on my 96 Disco and there were no sleeves for the upper shock mounts, isn't there suposed to be?

What do you mean by sleeves? IIRC just the rubber mount of the shock slides onto the shock mount.

On other trucks i've had, there was a metal sleeve that went in the bushing. I think it helps keep the bushing from wearing out so fast.
