Hi folks,

In the last couple months my brake pedal developed a consistent squeak when it is released. About the last inch of travel is when happens.

I see a rubber cylinder shaped hood that covers the area where the pedal disappears into the nether underneath the vehicle. Sounds like the squeak is coming from in there, but it doesn't look easily accessible. I'm hesitant to pump some wd40 in there and reek up my vehicle unless I knew it'd fix the problem.

Any ideas on making my braking sound luxurious again?

Thx.

May just be that the calipers could use a little lubrication and are causing light drag, could be the pads themselves 'singing' as they go between full stop and rolling.

I just did my brakes and I got a little of that initially, but it's gotten better.
