Stateside Disco 4 diesels?

I was just wondering if anyone had ever seen a Discovery 4 with a diesel, mainly the three-liter turbo diesel, in the US?

I guess I'm more curious if anyone's ever attempted a motor swap for the diesel on an LR4... I guess I just have a wandering mind. I know the electrical issues would be unreal to resolve and all, the power is lower than the hig end motor you're swapping--but the mileage and duty aspects seem to make me want one...

I don't think the diesel was ever offered in the US from factory on the LR4.

That engine is on pretty much every Discovery 4 (LR4) in the UK though.

I don't think Land Rover has ever brought a diesel Discovery to the US. Definitely, not an LR3 or LR4.

I believe the first Land Rover diesel offering in the US was this year in the FFRR and the RRS.
