Sun shade

Has anyone had problems with their sun shades staying latched on their LR4? My third row sun shade snaps open going over small bumps. I was wondering if there was an adjustment or a simple fix?

I havent had any problems with mine. I usually keep them closed and dont use the sunroof often. Make sure the button you press on the sunshade is not sticking and extending all the way out. That would cause the condition your explaining.

No problems with any of mine.

I'm quite surprised at how well they cut down on the light streaming into the cabin in the summer.

I guess it will take a trip to the dealer unless you are really handy and can spot/resolve the issue.

My sunshades are fine, but I actually never open them or close them. I do notice that you have to be really gentle or they could snap. My dealer told me that the tab does wear off and may need to be replaced under warranty. I would visit your dealership as they can definitely fix it likely pretty easy. Good luck!

The shades are amazing... I know of no other shades on the market that do such a great job. They don't make you feel closed in but at the same time cut back on the nasty rays when you don't want them. Brilliant.

As for the 3rd row shade flipping open, sounds like a dealership visit.

I have the same problem in the second and third row.....I think the dealer is the problem...I never had a problem, till recently when I had to change the panoramic roof...now whenever I'm driving they snap...I keep them open because they are quite the scare ...but it is a moving green house ..can't stand the heat...and BTW I have tried everything. .. I'm heading to the dealer..wish he can resolve it

Had the same issue except the glass company completely trashed my rear 3rd row shade when replacing the headliner after replacing the roof panel. Be very vigilant if someone has the roof replaced. I didn't really notice until months after.
