Am planning to replace shocks (f&r), front coils and rear air springs. Also looking to replace all bushings and steering damper. Plan is to use Bilsteins for shocks and steering damper, OEM for coils and rear air springs. Bushings are aftermarket product (poly bushing) sold thru Atlantic British or Rovers North.
Need feed back on the following items.
Shocks & steering damper: Bilstein vs OEM
Coils & rear air springs: OEM or aftermarket
Bushings (poly material): Atlantic British $330 vs Rovers North $195.
Has anyone used the Bilsteins?
Has anyone used the aftermarket air springs?
Has anyone used the poly bushings; either one listed above?
Any info would be greatly appreciated before I spend the money.

Many Thanks.

It also depends on the type of driving you do. Do you off road or all highway?

Aftermarket on air suspension... site sponsor offers life time warranty if that helps... and they sell shocks as well.

I run Bilstiens on my Disco and like them but plan to try another brand next set.

Mostly highway with some light off road.

OME medium duty lift along with OME HD shocks and one of their steering stabilizers. Check out the prices at Lucky 8 for the best deal and leave your bushings along, D2's rarely ever need a new bushing much less all of them like a D1.
Have you already rebuilt /replaced your front drive shaft, when they fail from lack of greasing theu can and quite often take out the tranny also.
Also, will you be installing the lift, if so, talk with Justin at Lucky 8 and get a link for their suspension replacement video.

Thnaks for the info Mike. You feel more comfortable with the OME vs Bistein or original equipment?

What about front coil springs and rear air springs? Original or aftermarket?

I do not plan on installing lift. Most of my driving is highway and some light off road.

Just check out the Lucky 8 site and look at their medium duty OME lift, it has all you will need/want plus of course a steering stabilizer.
I would use their HD shocks instead of the Bilsteins cause they are slightly longer and have a better valving systemthen factory, Bilsteins are slightly shorter
