Actually, thanks to whoever it was on this forum who pointed me to their website. They sell OEM LR accessories at a significant discount. So I made up the shopping list for what I might want for my new LR4 and checked out their prices. Then I took those prices to the dealership that will be selling me the LR4 (hopefully later this week.) I told them that I would love to do business with them but that they would need to match the prices from Rocklin. They did! And in fact they knew right away where I was getting the prices. (I'm thinking there are a lot of parts departments that aren't as happy with Rocklin as I am!)

So now I have the accessories ordered. I just need the truck!

Awesome!
I looked at the site too and it's actually seems to have the same owner as another LR dealer I'll be ordering my LR4 through. Of course I'm not being offered those Rocklin prices and will use the same tactic as you when it comes time to get them.

How did your dealer match prices, did they add in the sales tax and shipping costs if you had ordered from Rocklin?

They will need to charge me sales tax. I don't know what Rocklin would have done but of course there I would be doing shipping. Our sales tax is about 5%. I'm OK with that.

Of course the reality is that I probably bought a couple of things I might otherwise have avoided or might have gone the 3rd party route. ;-)

I have also checked out landroverpartscheap dot com and they seem to be a bit cheaper than Rocklin. They say their products are oem. I think they are Lakeside JLR in MI. I was searching the forum and saw another member recommend them. Are they ok to deal with for just accessories/parts, or am I missing something?

Thanks

I ordered some OEM parts for my roof rails from them and while I wouldn't say it was super quick (as I feel like they had to order the items from the UK) it was a pleasant experience. I would easily do business with them again.
