JohnKel - Can you post a pic of your cb antenna mount? interested in what other have done before I start on mine. Thanks!

let me get some shots in the next few days....I'm not real happy with the mount, but with a spring it could work.....Nathan has a sweet setup ...do a search or he may chime in.

Sorry to the OP (and everyone else) for the hijack!

I've seen Nathan's setup... I also thought I saw that reception wasn't the greatest... plus with the mount so low, the antenna required to clear the top of the truck would be pretty whippy even if it were fiberglass, and end up whacking the truck constantly, maybe?

Send me a PM with a pic if you don't mind. I'm considering mounting something to the body on the inside of the hatch opening. Maybe some sort of "trunk-type" mount, rotated to point up...
