I have my new-to-me 2015 LR4 99% back together after doing the timing chains. I ran into two, very minor but extremely annoying, items that prevented me from finishing today.

1. Is there supposed to be a hose connected to the Y on this coolant line?

2. Also, does anyone have ideas/experience retrofitting this connection, OR know the o-ring specs for the push connector?

3. Does anyone have either an alternative way to connect this line OR have found a replacement part at a local parts store?

Make sure you get all the broken pieces out of the coolant pump fitting.
I use a dry wall screw to remove the plastic pieces.

That grey hose barb fitting has no connections.

If you want that black bit as a plastic part you need to purchase the entire assembly from Rover.
If you are OK with introducing a new material of construction - no matter how limited in surface area it may be - then those are available in brass.

If anyone knows of that black plastic bit being available in aluminum PLEASE let us all know!
