I presume that Land Rover has resolved the quick flash concern related to LED trailer lights behind an LR4? If so, it seems odd, (or very Land Rover), that LR would not have factory programmed for auto cancellation of the backup sensors when a trailer is attached. The fact that an update is apparently available means it could have been programmed in with the factory load. Come to think of it, is it with early LR4's or all LR4's? For the LR3, there was no required software update to get the backup sensors to shut down as long as the trailer behind appeared to have tungsten trailer light bulbs. I use the word "appeared" as that was why it was necessary to add hardware that would fool the backup circuits.
