Hello,
2011 LR4. 115 KM. CPO
I recently have been noticing that the transmission sometimes is not engaging... I have to push the shifter forward or back to get it to fully engage.

The past week while on vacation I had the same issue more often to a point of me reveing the engine as it was not in gear a few times.

I also got a transmission fault with the error code per the gap tool as the following
P0826-62 (68) Up and down switch input circuit - Algorithm based failure - signal compare failure

Happened in reverse first and then in drive... Never a issue in sport.

1. Is this truck safe
2. Will I do more damage
3. I am pulling a trailer home
4. Can I assume this is covered under CPO warranty ?

Help me decide as I am 300km away from home.

Shane
Thanks

1. I think if it is in gear and it works fine, then you are probably ok.
2. I do not know. How do you know there is any damage? Maybe it's just a sensor. Maybe the mechanism is binding. Hard to tell.
3. Does this only happen when towing?
4. I cannot imagine how something as fundamental as a transmission issue would not be covered by CPO warranty unless they find evidence of negligence or physical damage.
