On LR's any time I see any non-start type issues, the first and easiest thing to check is to lock and unlock the door witht the key 2 - 3 times... if it is the alarm this should clear it... if not then it is time to start testing ECU's.

Thanks for the reply Joey.
I think if the vehicle is immobilized due to alarm system, then the fuel should not flow in the first case. But in our case, fuel is flowing, fuel pump is working. So alarm might not be the reason for it. But will make sure by doing what you have suggested.
Where ECU is concerned, we have installed a new ECU and programmed it with the latest software. But still no solution.

Can anyone suggest how to carry out a test to make sure crank and cam sensors are working fine ?

Any other suggestions what should be done ? We really need to start this vehicle now. This vehicle is really making us crazy.
