My 2016 LR4 HSE check engine is on. Local shop says the valve cover breathers leak and it’s 2400$us to fix. Anyone know a simple fix?

That price sounds a little steep. Valve cover is only ~$220 for the part. Book is 10hrs labor. When I had mine done, I also bought new gaskets for the intercooler and intake manifolds (~$100) and had them replace the spark plugs while everything was apart. All in, I paid about $1500.
Whatever you decide, recommend that you replace the rear crossover pipe while the supercharger is off.
Also, if it is in the budget, it may be a good time to change the oil in the supercharger and replace your snout coupler. You might as well take advantage of the extra space created by the removal of the intake components and supercharger.

If it is just the PCV valves leaking, you can buy them on Amazon for 20ish bucks and replace them in about 10 minutes yourself. Very easy.

Careful though. I broke one of the little tabs off on the valve cover that hold the pcv valves in place. Meant a new valve cover for me. $1500 is what it cost me for the job

Yep. Jewelers screwdriver to depress the little tabs. Work your way around in either direction.
