I had my rear replaced under extended warranty, I think. I forget what triggered it, I think a computer message lead them to it.I have the same issue and facing a replacement/rebuild in the future. Curious if you hear a high pitched whine at highway or greater speeds. Mine starts at about 75 and continues to get louder as speed increases. I was told by mechanic that that was indicative of the differential going bad.
I have had the rear replaced, found metal shavings on drain plug. I am sure if I looked at the front it would be the same.

On my front, yes, it gets worse with speed and is barely noticeable around town. On the highway, I don't hear a high pitched whine. I just feel the vibration. I am kind of curious how long I have on it before it goes REAL bad.
My goal is to always keep the maintenance up so I feel confident going on long family vacations with the truck. Once I don't feel that comfort any more, the truck is up for sale!
