weird electrical issue

Hey all.

I have a weird electrical issue. Battery is new, alternator rebuilt two years ago.

The serpentine belt is cracked and is being changed next week (have one on order).

What is happening is when I am driving, slowing down at a light actually (occasioinally over the last three days) the revs drop and everything dims, then when I start moving again it is fine...this happens for a few minutes then all is well.

Is it the serpentine belt not fully charging the battery?

Sounds more like your Alternator, but if the revs are dropping, it could be a fuel issue.

Last tune up?
anything other than the alt been changed?

new fuel pump two months ago. new 02 sensors, new fuel temp sensor, new coolant temp sensor and sender unit. newish battery. newish plug wires.

I would bet on the alternator being a possible issue.. have it checked.

there is something else....

when i say turn off the lights, you can hear a pop in the speakers. there seems to be a definate drop in voltage somewhere.

sometimes my heater kicks out for no reason...
