Ah, man... you should have gotten an LR4. I've owned BMWs since 1991 and honestly lost my interest in the brand after the introduction of the e90. My wife still has her e46 which IMO was BMWs last quality car not made my mass-robots and/or a Toyota (take over the world) mindset which BMW now has. Don't get me wrong, they are great cars still!!! But I had an e46 M3 which by God I regret to this day in selling, as well as a e90 M3 (completely underpowered, overrated, and over-priced disappointment,) which I just gladly sold for the LR4, as well as an e92 335i (had major issues with the HPFP needing replacement every 2500 miles, as well as filing a complaint after the engine shut down on a major highway which almost got me killed since I had a complete loss of power and needed to move over four lanes to safety, almost got rear-ended by cars doing 80 plus) as well as constant electrical gremlins (all e9Xs have this issue btw, check out the forums,
www.e90post.com) and the twin-turbo in itself had so much heat-soak, lack of power above 5500 rpms, I just couldn't stand it, and felt BMW made a major mistake going turbos to gain more hp as well as meet emissions. Anyway, love your new e90, but maybe one day you'll come back to Land Rovers.
