I've been having problems with my damn wheel speed sensors lately, and now (after taking it to the dealer once) the 3 ABS lights are comming on pretty much at random and going away after I turn off the truck and drive again.... I lifted the truck and see the wires where they go into like a rubber mount into the wheel... wish I had more information on these / how to check + how are these rubber grommets w/ wire in the center supposed to be attached in the wheel? Both of mine in the rear feel rather loose in the space where I think the grommet is supposed to hold, thinking this could be the cause

Thanks for all your help, also - seems like when ever I do or have the brakes done this problem re-occurs? 3 lights are ABS,tC, and HDC

thanks

They have notorious hub problems on the series IIs. This might sound screwy but aftermarket brake pads can also cause an erratic signal fault. What kind of pads are you running on? I would try some brake pad anti squeak. It is a kind of sticky glue that goes on the non friction surface of the brake pad(piston side). It keeps the pads from moving around so much when driving. I think it is called disk break quiet. You can usually find it at parts places. :) Try it out.

Doesn't sound screwy since the factory workshop Manual says to 'Mark the hub and put the wheels back on the same way'... Didn't do that, and used 'Prostop' - (Pepboys) pads...Also, rear rotor looks a little worn could this be causing this fault as well? It's been gone for a while now, but I know it'll come back.

Thanks guys

Hard to know what the exact problem is without getting some codes out of it. Worn rotors shouldn't be too bad unless they are warped (causes pulsation in pedal).

Yeah, time to buy a code reader. Hopefully Santa will bring me a new one... in the mean time I'll go back to autoZone and have them read the code to see which wheel is giving me a headache.

Thanks
