Hello:

LR3 Guy here looking to purchase and LR4 now. I'm just curious if any of you experienced discounting on the LR4 when you purchased. They don't seem too interested in budging on price. I've had enough issues with my LR3 that the only way I'd buy an LR4 is if it were priced right.

I'm looking to buy a 2012 LR4 HSE with Cold Climate package, sat radio, etc., etc. I'm in the mid-atlantic. Price I'm getting shopped right now is $57,000.

They must be selling tons of Land Rovers, because a $300 discount is pathetic. Go to truecar.com and see what they sell for in your zip and nearby

That helps. Says is should be selling for $55,000 which is what I was guessing.

When we purchased our LR4 the sticker was just a shy below 55K and without any haggling they knocked it down to 51K. Easiest car purchasing experience ever. In and out in just 2 hours. Unlike BMW where it's endless pushing and truly hours and hours of BS and exhaustion.

The data on that website is of course "past sales". If inventory is low, or whatever other reason, nothing prevents them from trying to hold high grosses and giving only very small discounts in the present

I'm in the $53K range now with them, depending on how you value my trade.
