Putting my fate in your hands...

I have a very eclectic taste and am trying to decide my next vehicle.

Currently driving a 2015 X5 and love it. Drive 30-40k miles per year mostly highway. Love offroading but have a lifted Wrangler for that fun. Want a luxury car first then a sports/fun car. I am OCD on fit/finish details. Not giving much more info than that but basing decision on reliability, comfort, driving experience (including audio), and overall owner experience.

Looking at a loaded up version of one of these: GMC Yukon Denali, BMW X6 or 550GT, or LR4.

So which is and why?

Sounds like a Range Rover Sport would be a better fit for you over the LR4.

I have owned a 2012 BMW X5 50i as well as a 2013 X6 50i M Sport.

You really can't beat those for sport luxury. 450hp twin turbo V8 that sounds amazing with full 480lb/ft of torque that is available from 2000rpm. Go test drive one. You wont be disappointed!

The Yukon is a glorified pimped up Tahoe. It is certainly in a league lower than all the rest of those vehicles you listed.

Thanks for replies. Not sure who voted for the GT but curious as to why?
That is one of my favorite BMW'S but it gets good reviews other that saying they are very ugly.

Not accurate there, Surf. Those models years for those 2 BMW vehicles you had sported the N63, with 400hp / 450 lb-ft, and no valvetronic. The engine you speak of is the N63TU, which has VT and 450hp / 480 lb-ft. Yes, the TU was offered in 2013 but only for the 7 and 6 series. The 2014 X5, and then the 2015 X6, is the model years respectively that got the updated engine.

FWIW, people have had LOTS of issues with the engine, particularly the 400hp version, including lots of oil burning (aside from bigger issues). Anyway, here:

And you would be wrong. The M Sport pack bumped the HP to 440hp.

Article said:
the 2013 X6 offers available power from both the 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged inline six and 4.4-liter twin-turbo V8 through its M Performance Package...
The larger V8-powered model sports up to 440 hp and 480 lb-ft, gains of 40 horses and 30 torques. Models not ordered with the M Performance Package retain the less powerful engines offered in 2012, and all engines are mated to eight-speed automatic gearboxes.
