Windshield washer fluid reservoir leaking

I have done a topical search and found none so here goes...
I have a substantial leak in my windshield fluid reservoir. I have tried to see if it is somehow cracked or if it is leaking from the tubes or pump. I began to take it out in order to completely assess the situation, but after taking most of the front of the vehicle apart, I was still unable to find the remaining attachment mechanism bolt etc.. man was that frustrating... can anyone tell me where and how the reservoir is attached? It didn't seem like it should have been so complicated, but the location isn't remotely easy to get to and so much stuff has to come off before even getting to the part...very frustrating.
