Windshield wipers cycle once during startup or ignition off

Hi guys

Weird thing I had some audio equipment installed yesterday (screen, navigation, and backup cam). Now when I start the vehicle or power it down, the windsheild wipers cycle once. This is super annoying.

Does anyone know what typically causes this?

Yes. The LR3 is allergic to 22" wheels and this manifests itself in strange electronic hiccups.

Ouch! Play nice. We're all probably just a generation more senior than him, and he's been so good natured about the previous wheel discussion.

Now, more importantly, did you get bunches of flip down screens, really big ones? Like those old Roadmasters and 'Gators I see riding around the Detroit freeway systems at night with driver only and no passengers yet all screens playing a movie?

The funny part is that that comment fit perfectly with someone who would put 22s on a LR3. Just screams "please PLEASE think I'm as cool as I do"

Brother, I hand you a sincere compliment. Then I make a little sarcastic joke about screenage along the same lines of all that old wheel jabber, and you totally break down and lose it. Man, maybe what they say about surgeons is actually true . . .

(Just as a fun aside, none of the post-intern/resident surgeons or other successful physicians whom I have met ever stooped to the level of buying a used car. Am I alone in this observation?)

The wipers may be set to automatic mode see if you can pull the wiper stalk down 1 notch.
