Seemed like an unnecessary cost for something that 3rd parties are making the same or better (cheaper and easy to install). Also, I can't recall for certain, but I think (on my LR3 anyway) the OEM blade didn't look as nice as the frameless after-market options. That may be standard now.
The reason I ask is, in the Mercedes world that I'm more familiar with, the vast majority of owners use aftermarket blades that are easily available at FLAPS/McParts, but often don't fit exactly right, and aren't cheap either. Most people don't realize the MB dealer blades fit perfectly, don't cost a fortune, and have OE/dealer refills available at a very affordable price (well under $10) so you don't have to replace the entire blade each time. Just trying to learn what LR options are!
I found the part number in Microcat for LHD (USA) models, should be p/n
LR018367, ~$37 USD list price each (ouch). Doesn't appear they are refillable. Also seems from Googling that the OEM is Trico, not Valeo. Anyone tried Trico yet? The OE (and Trico) blades are visibly different than Valeo.
EDIT: Rear wiper blade is
DKB500680, $21 dealer list price.
