D5 is now a less expensive full size unibody Range Rover for people who wanted a Range Rover but weren't happy with the little room/cargo space it provided. At $75k its a steal for buyers who were about to spend a 100k for a FFRR.
Except the LWB RR has more usable space for my preferences while retaining the lower tail gate and lift gate that still allows long roof top items such as kayaks, lumber, etc. RR also retains proper high viewpoint seating and higher 2nd row seating & sight lines as well as taller windows/lower sill.
I've spent 75+ a few times on vehicles, 100+ one of those times, but never would on this Discovery 5.
