Trolling for information on whether anyone is running these. I'm ok with running Johnson Rods full time.

I'm pretty sure I'm running 275/65/18, I can never remember. It's one of the two sizes you list. I'll look tonight. I use the Johnson Rods full time and the tires do rub while turning. It's not as bad now that I have about 20k miles on them. The back tires rub at about 10-11 o'clock in the wheel well. It's most annoying when driving on a windy road.

I'll try to take some pictures of where they rub tonight. Oh and it's on an LR3, shouldn't make a difference though.

Expat93, I confirmed tire size this morning and I'm running 265/70r18. I'm using stock LR wheels since it's an LR3. Here are some pictures with it at normal ride height with the Johnson rods. Also attached is a picture of the DS rear wheel where it rubs and the PS front wheel where it rubs. Oh I should add that I think most of the rubbing in the rear occurs when I drive to work. I have to lower it to Access mode to fit in the parking garage.

Sorry for the picture quality it was still dark when I left this morning.

Here are two more pictures of the DS wheel turned all the way left and the PS wheel turned all the way left. It doesn't look like there is clearance on the PS but there is about 0.5".

If you have any other questions or want any additional pictures let me know.

Why not just stick with original size? Is there an advantage to the other sizes? At least there would be no worried about rubbing, etc.

Most of us switch to the 18" wheel to have more options for off-road capable tires. There are very limited options (apart from street tires) with the 19" stock wheels (255/55R19).

I am running 285/60/18 (31.46"), but mine look like they have a lot more sidewall than yours. Not sure if its just picture deception, but yours dosent look like they have all that much sidewall to them at all considering that should be a massive 32.6" tire!

I think it's the angle of the picture. The tire is turned all the way to the driver side in those pictures. I measured the side walls and it's 6" from rim to edge of tire.
